It seems when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Some pretty big names have picked up stakes and moved to parts more hospitable. To name a few that come to mind: Beretta, H&K, Stag, Remington, Olin, Mossberg, now S&W.

Still keeping the forging, machining and metal treating production in Mass.  Thats a good chunk of what goes into manufacturing a firearm right there. 

Final assemble is in Tenn to avoid the proposed legislation in Mass.

Tennessee is a great state, and their low property taxes makes them even greater.
