wow. Walmart open till 10pm tonight

Very true....my fat A** got some ice cream today and the store had a sign on the door, July 4th open till 11PM!

I closed @ 2pm today instead of the usual 5:30.

Ridiculous. I remember when I worked day shift I was always scheduled closing shift on holidays, so that I missed opportunity to celebrate. It wasn't like there were special sales (usually they were limited to a limited quantity items brought in only for the holiday). I guess it was just my employer's way of telling me that I don't deserve a life.
