Photo For The Online CCW Application

I was recently told that if you download a photo from your device to the online app it automatically sizes the photo to a 2x2. For some reason that sounds like the wrong info. Can someone who has recently applied for a CCW tell me what worked for you.

I downloaded an app that takes passport photos on my phone.

I uploaded the file the app saved.

No issues getting my permit.

My photo for the CCW was a selfie that I took with my cell phone then resized and cropped win Photoshop. No issues!

GIMP is the open source, free competitor to Photoshop, that’s what I used.
