Doesn't reduce flash and doesn't have threads. I'm thinking it's good to go here.

It's a brake so GTG!  Of course it's threaded but that does not matter!

Yep! 100% legal and very effective. I have about 1/2 dozen on rifles.

I recommend you grab a SF Warden as well. Comes in handy at classes so you don’t blow out your partners eardrums.

I'm actually starting to take a few classes so going through all my gear to make sure I have no problems.

Screenshotted the legality of aimsports a2 muzzle brake also for a different rifle.

My buddies pin and weld job looks much cleaner than mine. I imagine most people don't give you sht for this unless you've already got yourself in trouble for something else.

I have the Aimsport A2 birdcage brake on several of my builds. I love the original look and they are really inexpensive.

I think it is.

Additionally, the Warden will fit on any other rifle with a SF brake - so there is value added.

They also make a direct thread Warden which is cheaper than buying a Warden/MB556 Combo.

Note: B&T also makes SF Warden compatible muzzle devices if you find something you like by them.

Hm maybe I'll start with the muzzle brake and then just add the warden later. It is a cool set up.

I didn't know it will fit on any surefire muzzle brake. Any benefit to the socom over the procomp? https://www.surefire.com/procomp/

I really wish nj didn't make everything so complicated.

Sorry. The Warden will only fit on muzzle devices that will also accept suppressors.

SF recently started making the Pro series (I always discount/forget about them as I wouldn’t buy it) that cost less than standard devices. The Pro lineup does not have the indexing notch or the ability to attach a Warden.
