Maksim 1,504 Posted August 31, 2009 So I am now in Ukraine. Was hard to leave israel, but I did make it to Odessa. Staying with parent's and my childhood friends on the outskirts of the city..... with no internet connection. Wow, how we take some things for granted.... as in on demand hot water. lol. Otherwise, really great food, all natural, grown in the back yard. Weather is pretty good, knock on wood. Women... yes it is true... mostly all damn good looking. No one you really would want to marry, but damn hot looking. Some of the outfits worn here on the street are shorter than anything you would see in New York. I had seen all the touristy crap already, and all of my childhood places already in the first few days, that now I was hoping to get back to Israel early. It really is a beautiful place. But alas,.... cannot change my flights back. I am here until Sunday morning, then flying back to Israel, and then as it stands right now, my flight back to New York is Monday morning. Though, I think I will extend the trip a few more days. Yes, got tons of photos, too many to sort through.... but you want to talk beauty... here ya go... one from Haifa. Maksim 1,504 Posted September 4, 2009 Just an update.... went to a gun store in Odessa.... this place was more gorgeous than the Cabella gun library.... to top it all off.... I thought I died and went to heaven. On the shelf were 5 Veprs! and 4 GSG models not seen in the states. There were 2 Super Veprs in 308, and Regular Veprs in 223, 7.62x39, and 308. :shock: I soooooo wanted it. Dead sexy finish on them.... including one of the super veprs in a long 24"? barrell. I have phone pics... will access in the states. Price converted to USD.... apx $1200.
