Are you looking for Mickey D's, Alby's, Boston Market, Taco Bell? If you come off Exit 89, bear right off ramp and then go right at the first street it will take you into Brick. Go to Rt 70 (1st light?) and turn LEFT will get you to Alby's and Mickey D's. Go to through to second light will get you Boston Market and Taco Bell on the right. Caine 147 Posted March 3, 2010 What broke on the M&P? The striker on my M&P 9. Not even 300 rounds thru it yet. Ouch! Have you called S&W yet?
mikeyboyeee 66 Posted March 3, 2010 Apparently, this is a common issue as pointed out by Maks and Wolfy last night, then I read about people keeping spare strikers on hand and their are a few revisions of them. I called the rep I called about the mags a couple times today, but keep getting his Vm, so I will keep trying. if I don't get him in a day or 2, I will call general support. I know midway sells them strikers for $30 but I ain't paying for them on a new gun (especially one with a lifetime warranty). Glad it happened at range and not when my life depended on it. t 92Fs now resides in my night stand safe and will remain so far a long long time. I have an extra striker just for this....
mikeyboyeee 66 Posted March 3, 2010 no more then 300 rounds. Double that in dry fire. 90% of time with snap caps. Looks like need to keep them on hand.
Caine 147 Posted March 3, 2010 I don't know the exact round count thru my M&P.. prob around 1-1500k. No probs knock on wood.. but not a bad idea to have a couple extra strikers on hand.
67gtonut 847 Posted March 3, 2010 3000 rds thru mine..... not 1 issue..... I do very little dry fire.... S&W will take care of it.... supposed to be updated striker also....
Caine 147 Posted March 3, 2010 I don't do very much dry firing either.. altho I was under the impression that with most of these new guns you could dry fire till you turned blue in the face without any issues. Guess not.
mikeyboyeee 66 Posted March 3, 2010 May have an older gun since I got it thru Aimsurplus, but an updated striker would be a good idea for anyone. I am going to talk to the rep and see if he will send 2. <300 round failure is not good tho.

Wolfy 51 Posted March 3, 2010 S&W had an issue acknowledged it and came out with a better firing pin. Instead of waiting for the rep call S&W direct. There have been no issues with the 2.0 version of the firing pin. Bri@n you had coffee  . Don't worry you fit in fine.
