Malsua 1,422 Posted May 16, 2010 What kind of fish are we looking at here? I'm from Ohio...we don't have fish like that back home.
Chad 3 Posted May 16, 2010 They are freshwater fish called pickerels, aka southern pike, or jack fish. I don't eat them, they are a pain to clean, tons of little bones.
Malsua 1,422 Posted May 16, 2010 I thought they looked like pike, but I've only ever fished for Northern Pike..looks similar but the color of your fish is lighter and the head appears bigger. It's got the same head profile and the long body. Very close but not quite the same.
bad64chevelle 0 Posted May 16, 2010 Nice work Chad. There are plenty of places in your area to fish, I have actually been hitting some of them recently, since I work out that way now.
