Last time I was at Cabela's, I had a used one of those in my hand. Sorely tempting, but I put it back on the rack. I'm still kicking myself. Beautiful gun, great balance and very classy. Maybe next time.

I bought one this spring and have had it out a couple of times at cherry ridge. I love it and it eats everything i've put through it. I am considering changing the sights though. good luck with it and have fun.

I have the regular barrel model in .22lr . Smoothest action i`ve seen on a lever action rifle

Yeah, but the octagon barrel is just so classsy.

 

Every time I see a lever gun, I want to get a saddle scabbard. Shame I don't have a saddle. Or a horse.

I bought the same gun last Christmas, it's since been getting quite the work out. The only issue so far is sometimes the last round wont cycle the first time.
