Need some more eyes

Since I've been in this weekend, catering to every whim of my recovering wife, I had a bunch of time to work on the site.

 

I've fleshed out the event and directory sections, and would like you guys to take a look at them and let me know if you have any suggestions for additional categories in either section.

Why is the event calender is a different language. Other than that, looks good to me.

It's called "greeking", placeholder text that just takes up space while the real content is being developed.

I would add Other to both pages as a "catch all" for services and events that may not fit in any particular category.

The only suggestion I have is regarding something you did not ask about, and that is the layout.

 

Perhaps what you have is just a placeholder but I have to say it looks like one of those generic home pages that you might get if you typed in a .net instead of the .com you were looking for, or one of those websites where someone forgot to renew their domain name and some annonymous search page comes up instead, you know what I am talking about?

 

I think it should have a more official presence.
