thinking of using this on my CX4

I can mount it really low to co-witness with the irons, or go above them with a see thru mount. It goes for around 250 bucks, but the mount is expensive! 160 bucks for a Larue low mount. Gotta find a cheaper mount.

Consider going with something from Primary Arms: http://www.primaryarms.com/category.sc; ... goryId=128

A lot of guys use their stuff on their ARs and AKs (so it can handle that), and a lot of other people use them on their 22s. I'm sure these optics can handle the CX4 recoil as well. PA also sells risers (for an additional cheap price). I have an M3 style, and it handled fine on my AR for the short duration I had it on there initially.

Pretty decent stuff for pretty darn cheap. Also, PA has the best customer service I've ever dealt with-- really stand up guys.

That scope co witnessed with the irons would be devastatingly accurate for a pistol caliber carbine.

That's what I was thinking. The pic on the page has it co-witnessing with the irons nicely.

Did you guys check out Burris's tactical series. This company has come a long way.

Yeah, they definitly are jumping into the tactical market!

Ray, I have not used one but read and heard good things about it. I was looking to get one.

160 bucks for the mount? I gotta do better than that.

If this is gonna be mounted on the CX4 why are you even looking at Larue mounts?

Any 30mm ring should be enough to get it on there.. you just gotta figure out the right height if you want the sight to co-witness.

If you want to stick with the Burris theme, try these:
