Knoxx SpecOps Stock on a Mossberg 500

I have the A-zoom aluminum snap caps in several calibers and they're great for cycling the action. However if you're going to be running a lot of drills with your pistol, I think these are pretty cool:

They don't hold up quite as well but they're cheap and plentiful ($23/50 for 9mm) so if you lose a few while running stoppage drills at the range, no big deal.

 

My 7.62x39 aluminum snap caps especially have taken a lot of abuse, so if you're going to run them hard anyway...

for what its worth.. I just picked up the Knoxx stock at a local shop on an impulse buy.. the one I purchased is just the standard one (NOT the recoil reducing one).. and accessing the safety is totally manageable..

I bought one slightly used for $80 including shipping (for the recoil reducing model - highly recommended)

 

New - Midway sells them for $119, which is pretty good

Only one way to find out! But unless you plan on shooting alot of slugs or buckshoot, then I'd say no.

I got mine for $100 when midway was having a sale on them. I like the recoil reduction, even for birdshot. it helps to stay on target.
