vjf915 456 Posted September 13, 2010 Bring the ad with you so at the very least they can match the price? Only problem is that the sale at Dicks ends on the 18th, and the gun show is on the 19th. Otherwise, great idea.
bry@n 195 Posted September 13, 2010 That is a really good deal on that Savage 93r17btvs.
jgofnj 5 Posted September 13, 2010 Any thoughts on the NEF Pardner Protector - 12GA 18.5" Barrel (on sale for $179.99) for Home Defense purposes?
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted September 13, 2010 Should be good for HD. It's a copy of the Remington 870 Express. See this article: http://www.gunco.net/forums/f108/remington-870-express-vs-nef-pardner-pump-test-review-49402/
Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted September 13, 2010 Only problem is that the sale at Dicks ends on the 18th, and the gun show is on the 19th. Otherwise, great idea. If you are talking about VF - why not attaend the show on Friday 09/17 (a bit more expensive - but first pick and less crowded) or Saturday 09/18? I'm heading over Friday afternoon. FlyersFan 1 Posted September 14, 2010 Just an FYI, the Dick's ad for Delaware offers some different options and cheaper prices than the New Jersey ad. (Savage 64 is $10 cheaper, Ruger 10/22 for $199, etc.) Might be worth the trip if they have something specific you're looking for. (No sales tax too!) imperialfish 11 Posted September 14, 2010 Any thoughts on the NEF Pardner Protector - 12GA 18.5" Barrel (on sale for $179.99) for Home Defense purposes? I bought pardner pump last time it was on sale good deal. Its a very solid build never had a any problems with it.
SpecOps2087 3 Posted September 15, 2010 I bought pardner pump last time it was on sale good deal. Its a very solid build never had a any problems with it. I was thinking about picking that up as a cheap HD shotgun. Put a light on it and it'll be good to go.
imperialfish 11 Posted September 17, 2010 that's exactly what i did Took it to the range a few time shot a few hundred rounds to make sure she was good. Great value for a cheep shotgun. I have shot slug, 00, 000 and target load no problem. Just make sure you run cleaner inside firing pin hole then wipe off.
imperialfish 11 Posted September 17, 2010 lots of people have send them back for misfiring because of dirty firing pin hole. what happens the firing pin hits weak becouse of the dirt and oil.
