Should be good for HD. It's a copy of the Remington 870 Express.

If you are talking about VF - why not attaend the show on Friday 09/17 (a bit more expensive - but first pick and less crowded) or Saturday 09/18? I'm heading over Friday afternoon.

Just an FYI, the Dick's ad for Delaware offers some different options and cheaper prices than the New Jersey ad. (Savage 64 is $10 cheaper, Ruger 10/22 for $199, etc.) Might be worth the trip if they have something specific you're looking for. (No sales tax too!)

I bought pardner pump last time it was on sale good deal. Its a very solid build never had a any problems with it.

I was thinking about picking that up as a cheap HD shotgun. Put a light on it and it'll be good to go.

that's exactly what i did

 

Took it to the range a few time shot a few hundred rounds to make sure she was good. Great value for a cheep shotgun.

 

I have shot slug, 00, 000 and target load no problem.

 

Just make sure you run cleaner inside firing pin hole then wipe off.

lots of people have send them back for misfiring because of dirty firing pin hole.

 

what happens the firing pin hits weak becouse of the dirt and oil.
