Buying a long gun in PA

Recommended Posts

You misunderstand it. It can go through either a NJ or an out-of-state dealer.

2. Long gun purchases by

...A. NJ resident from

........(3) Out-of-state dealer = NICS check with a FPID, COE and Photo ID

NICS or PICS is closed on Sundays. I don't know if you can pick up a rifle.

Wrong.

PICS (operated by the PASP) is open 7 days a week plus holidays, from 8 AM 'til 10 PM. I think his point was that PICS has extended hours over NICS in NJ, which is handled by a private company using a 900 telephone number.
