Price check please

I did not fondle the gun, so I am writing down what salesman said. All black Mossberg 500 slug gun with adjustable sights, a collection of chokes and a wrench, with a short riot barrel (assuming 18"). Asking $225.

 

I see I can get a new combo kit in wood from Bud's for $302, so I could probably get it locally for 330 or so.

 

Is the extra $100 worth it to get a new one vs. used?

 

This will be for fun, not hunting or zombies (unless they come knocking).

Yea it depends on what condition it is in. If it is in good condition, jump on it if a 500 is what you want.
