Spontaneously ordered 2 Spike's lowers from Aimsurplus. My logic at the time was "they're good to have around, and its a great price with free shipping". Hopefully I can exercise restraint from looking at uppers and build kits.

Dan, did you order the blemished ones from Aim? I had the exact same thought, and was also drinking a beer. But for some reason, just came short of putting in the credit card number and realized... I should just look at uppers. Must be the fact that I was drinking a Smirnoff Ice.

Maks, I got the non-blemished ones for $79. I'm running one now so I know they are good. I thought about the blemished ones and saving $20 each, but I'm always leery since "slight blemish" is very subjective and means different things to different people.

Perhaps the blemished ones are good to stock up on to be ready for the impending ATF registration/"non-sporting" regulatory stealth Obamination ban...
