I was in Ohio Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue. I carried my HK P30 Outer Waste Band in a Serpa QCQ holster under a long shirt. Worked out just fine. I have a CompTac Mtac IWB but in Ohio open carry is legal, so I figured if anyone noticed, I wasn't breaking any laws. Some establishments do not permit open carry so under the shirt it goes. For what it's worth, in Ohio, the no gun signs carry the force of law but the property owner has to ask you to leave. He can sue you but who would bother if you left peaceably.

 

I was a little nervous checking out in Walmart and two uniformed cops got in line behind me but I don't think they noticed.

 

In more discreet applications, I will use my SW638 (shrouded hammer K frame).

 

Felt good to exercise my rights.

Elevated threat - Serpa Sig P229 40 cal or XD 45 AND my Ruger LCP 380 in a very secure calf rig...why they call it an ankle holster when it is on your lower calf is beyond me. If it is hot, why not carry two?
