Malsua 1,422 Posted July 28, 2011 Sorta looks like "Spline Drive" via google images. Anyone have any further information? Mom isn't sure where the drive socket is. Sorry for the crappy picture, it's dark outside.
JackDaWack 2,895 Posted July 28, 2011 I think it is a tuner lug/spline drive and uses 19mm with a key or a spline socket.
Malsua 1,422 Posted July 28, 2011 I think it is a tuner lug/spline drive and uses 19mm with a key or a spline socket. The thing is they're all the same, all 32 of them, so it's not a specific key.
Anselmo 87 Posted July 28, 2011 32 of them? I guess that is some sort of truck? There is not lug wrench with the proper drive ends some place in the truck?
XDJohnTact 49 Posted July 28, 2011 Looks a little like a factory Toyota spline drive lug nut to me? If it is, you can get the drive socket from the dealer (check the jack tool bag first).
alowerlevel 77 Posted July 28, 2011 What kind of vehicle is it?
maideneddie 35 Posted July 28, 2011 Those may just be protective caps over the real lug nuts, kinda like the ones Chevy uses on their factory wheels. I am assuming these are on your dodge and I noticed it has after market rims, so hopefully they are not some brand specific lug nut.

I was thinking the same thing but thought it was too obvious to mention.
JackDaWack 2,895 Posted July 28, 2011 No they are definitely spline lugs, you can get the key which will work on all of them, or you can buy the specific wrench/socket.
Malsua 1,422 Posted July 28, 2011 Jack has it there...now if I can find where to order that tool. That "Custom Wheel Accessories" website doesn't look like the OEM. As to the key, before I was given the truck by my mother, she cleaned it out and just thought it was a socket. She's unable to locate it. It's an '04 Dodge Ram 2500 and they are aftermarket wheels and tires.

e80hydro 120 Posted July 28, 2011 try autozone....they sell those lug nuts and comes with tool i think its $20 +1. Drive the truck there and have one of the employee's go out and look at it.
Malsua 1,422 Posted July 28, 2011 +1. Drive the truck there and have one of the employee's go out and look at it. That would require that I live somewhere near civilization. I'm surprised I have electricity and running water where I live. The nearest Autozone is 45 minutes away but maybe I can order it.
