Range 14, Clay Shooting

So I was thinking about picking up some target loads to try shooting some clays with my Moss 500. I know Dix has a trap range, do they also have the trap launcher (or whatever the technical term is) or is that something you need to bring with you? Also does anyone use the handheld thrower or is it really not practical?

Range 14 is a Skeet range. They have the throwers there. You have to plug in a controller to use the range. You can choose which side the clays fly from.

I've used a hand thrower with no luck when its cold. if its warm out it works but when its cold its much harder. I think it has to do with the plastic contracting.

Was at Range 14 today with my son and his Brother & Father-in-law. We shot some Skeet (the Trap machines were not working). we also shot some rifles and pistols. I have never seen so many people shooting there. We had a great time, could not have asked for a better day!

Yes they were, I am sure that is because of the large crowds waiting to shoot.

i wouldn't mind if they increase their price a little. the wait in the summer is just crazy.
