I'm so mad at myself. Had my first buck come in and I missed a 50 yard shot with my 20 mossberg 500 with a slug barrel.... . I had buck fever like a mo fo will be out tomorrow with my stoegar with x full choke and buck shot

Gotta love that buck fever. Had it happen to me, but at like 150 yards, and by the time I took a deep breathe to calm my nerves he had already moved past the opening into heavy brush and trees and couldn't get a clear shot. I was pissed that day. At least I didn't waste my ammo with a missed shot that day, though I did want to just empty my mag on them damn squirrels!! I'll be back out in NY this Saturday hopefully I can get something

Hahaha, I know what you mean about the squirrels! Everytime I'm out hunting deer with either my bow or gun, and I get pissed because I either haven't see a deer all day or things just are not going right... I feel like I want to unload on all the annoying squirrels running around all around my tree stand! LOL!

I got skunked in zone 6. Might buy a winter bow permit and get out there with the crossbow. Saw some ridiculous deer while doing drives. Of course I was the driver without a gun.
