Wolf 223ammo

I was doing some research on Wolf 223 ammo and came across this video. I'm not sure if this has been posted here before.

Good info there. I gotta look at my brown bear ammo. I guess it could be the carbon buildup that's could cause issues after not cleaning.

I have no issues with wolf on my saiga 7.62. But with what I was hearing on issues on usage in an AR, I was hesitant to try them myself.

My AR will not cycle Wolf ammo. They dont make it out of the magazine and into the chamber. They jam half way between. it eats ANY brass ammo but no steel. I wound up trading what I had with Maks for brass ammo.

What weight bullet, what temperature at the range, what mags, what length gas system?

 

With a mid length gas system on a 16" I have had similar issues with some old stock 62gr wolf and pmags in cooler weather (high 30s). Too much friction, not enough gas.

I run wolf out of my Bushy and Olyarms with no problems.

All of my ARs feed wolf with out any issues. I use 15rd PMAGs and quality uppers.

I use Arm-N-Ammo 15 round mags that I got from P90 about 7 or 8 years ago.
