The Arisaka is an interesting story. It was water damaged in a fire and completely rusted over. I had to remove the bayo and bolt with a sledge hammer. Took 2 months of sulfuric baths and polishing to bring her back. Luckilly only one tiny spring in the aircraft sights couldn't be replaced out of the whole gun. Bolt and receiver still pitted, but I could kick myself for not taking "before" shots.
