For the uninitiated, this is a pre-lock 3" (maybe 4" can't tell from the pics) L-Frame, 5-shot, .44 Special. Looks like this one has laser factory engraving.

I bought this last april for 600. Just worked out with the 30 days and some other purchases.

Have the orig. case and all papers. I had posted this on 1911 forum in April. Walked into a LGS and had been an estate turn in. Offered 600. LGS said yes. Works for me. 3", only drawback is deceased owners name on left side. Under my large thumb.

It's the engraving I don't like. I like the caliber, the frame and the finish. It's the drug-dealer engraving that makes it tacky.
