MicroChip 0 Posted August 13, 2012 I placed an order but it says they expect it to ship in October. MC
DirtyDigz 1,812 Posted August 13, 2012 I'm not a member of the buyer's club, so using the coupon SG2172 gets the shipped price to $115.97. Assuming a $10 value for the ammo can and it comes out to $105.97 for the ammo or ~$0.21/round. Yeah, I'll throw an order at that, even if it is backordered. Kaiser7 33 Posted August 13, 2012 They have a decent sale on 8mm mauser ammo too-- but it's Iranian surplus, which I don't know anything about the quality of that ammo.

MicroChip 0 Posted August 14, 2012 I emailed them to see if I needed to send them a copy of my FID and/or drivers license and they replied that they didn't require that (except for Illinois residents). They also said the S&B in the ammo can is expected in their warehouse 9/29 (I didn't even inquire). MC
silverado427 10,775 Posted August 15, 2012 the ammo has police marked on the box with green on the primers , The ammo can is in great condition.
MicroChip 0 Posted August 25, 2012 Got an email yesterday that my order shipped. Much better than their estimate... MC
bhunted 887 Posted August 25, 2012 I've spent thousands over the years with SG and I find their shipping majority of he time fair and fast. Especially if you are a member. On occasion, if shipping from a direct supplier, little longer. Got an email yesterday that my order shipped. Much better than their estimate... JamesC 2 Posted August 25, 2012 Mine arrived this week too. However, they included a trial of deodorant that exploded during shipping and covered the cans with mysterious white solids. I thought the cans had a massive case of mildew but just nasty white men's sport guard.
jrfly3006 42 Posted August 25, 2012 They told me my PMC .223 was backordered till sept 12..got it delivered aug
MicroChip 0 Posted August 29, 2012 Mine came today. I didn't notice a trial of deoderant, however there was white stuff on my ammo can. Also I didn't get the police boxes, I got the standard red & green S&B. Dunno if there's a difference. Here's a pic... MC

MicroChip 0 Posted August 30, 2012 where the primers painted red or green Neither. No paint. In fact the whole thing is quite uniform in color, both casing and bullet. MC
