PSA is doing it again! Stripped polymer lower

Recommended Posts

...assemble a jersey-legal AR pistol (assuming you bought the lower with a PPP instead of a COE)

Are you certain that purchasing the lower with a PPP instead of a COE is a requirement to assembling a legal AR pistol in NJ? I have one of these polymer lowers and have been considering building a pistol if I can find lightweight enough components.

If you didn't purchase it as a pistol lower, you can NOT legally make it into a handgun.

Once a rifle, always a rifle.

Stripped lower gets logged as 'other'. I'll let actual ffls chime in as to what that means here.

The "other" classification on the 4473 was Eric Holder's invention to keep transfers of pistol gripped shotguns and stripped lowers limited to state-of-residence FFLs.

Tightening of the noose, one notch at a time.

I went with the new frontier lower from joe bob outfitters seems like a solid lower for a great price.

Is there a noticeable weight difference between the polymer lower and regular one?
