lunker 274 Posted December 20, 2012 Wow, $900 WASR reminds me of this forum back when President Obama was first elected. Brick Armory had them for that price and Tinyboy bought one. .

RecessedFilter 222 Posted December 21, 2012 Its also the time right right now though. 3 weeks ago they were averaging 600's...3 years ago averaging 400. But that also goes for every other gun in demand. Remember when cases of rifle ammo were 150 bucks?
blksheep 466 Posted December 21, 2012 I might sell it now along with some 223 ammo for a fair price to get a lower.
superbee 2 Posted December 21, 2012 Honestley if you have waited til now to buy guns and ammo, you deserve to pay the inflated prices.
blksheep 466 Posted December 21, 2012 I am going to sell mine at a decent price along with the ammo. All I am really looking for is a stripped lower. Not everyone has a ton of money to stockpile ammo.
Candide 0 Posted December 21, 2012 Honestley if you have waited til now to buy guns and ammo, you deserve to pay the inflated prices. Nobody deserves inflated prices. Not everyone here can afford to buy cases of ammo at a time or whatever gun they want. Sometimes life gets in the way. Unexpected bills or want not. Dick thing to say. lunker 274 Posted December 21, 2012 Nobody deserves inflated prices. Not everyone here can afford to buy cases of ammo at a time or whatever gun they want. Sometimes life gets in the way. Unexpected bills or want not. Dick thing to say. I see both sides on this one. I think it was more of an unpleasant truth. With the price of ammo going ever higher the last decade, the writing has been on the wall for a long time. Buy 2 shoot 1. Those who didn't, or couldn't are in a tough spot. While we don't deserve the higher prices, those who had the means to stockpile but didn't have only themselves to blame. It's the folks who buy their ammo a few boxes at a time I feel bad for. I would suggest that folks here start saving for reloading equipment rather than a new gun. It is a long term solution to ammo pricing problems. Vini 0 Posted December 21, 2012 What about $2400 for a WASR http://www.gunbroker...?Item=322417677 While k-var still has SGL21 for $
superbee 2 Posted December 21, 2012 Yea im a dick then... But i read ALOT and base my financial decisions on the way this country is headed. Maybe more should do the same. Things can be purchased slowley, as you can afford them. If thats not an option for you, maybe you should find another hobby. Sorry i dont sugar coat things, but it is what it is....
