I have my favorite stores I visit. All are just about empty. I can tell you the stores are empty. No ammo, no mags, very few guns. As fast as it comes in its gone that day. NJ with the one gun a month has more guns in the stores.

I just came from California, they have limited ammo, and very few handguns. They did have a lot of shotguns, and hunting rifles. Absolutely no mag, the wall was wide open.

This is very likely not going to happen in 2013! There is so much standing order fulfillment that it could very well be 2014 before new inventory returns. I've talked to contacts within Federal, S&W, and Colt and they're buried. They're simply not equipped in manpower nor machinery to get out ahead of this anytime soon. Could be crazy times for the whole firearms market for the next two years, especially if cooler heads prevail and there's suddenly a mass flood in the used gun market driving prices way down to move inventories.

Funny i didnt even see a gun store while driving, tho i didnt look for one in particular. I figured i would see quite a few around here...
