Disappointingly tepid NJ.com editorial

This was titled "Gun control won't stop the insane or criminals."

Sounded promising, but it's basically about how police have no duty to protect. The editorial didn't even address what was promised in the title.

 

If I were a cynic, I'd guess the SLED chose the weakest "pro-gun" editorial it could find to appear "balanced."

It wasn't an editorial. It was a guest opinion piece.

 

I thought it was good. It deconstructed the argument that we should just dial 911 if we are attacked and the police will take care of everything.

 

I agree though that the title was a little misleading, but the content was good.

If you are disappointed, you should read the other garbage they posted before. When I saw this article earlier in the morning, I thought NJ.com site was hacked by NRA.
