That's a possibility but if your on hospice you should have less than 10 days to die and all the numbing medication in the pharmacy.

That's what my mom told me to do. I told her she better die in her sleep.

 

We just had a family member move in and out of hospice a couple times. Spent some time taking care of them. It's not all shits and giggles.

 

I think what happened is perfectly obvious. People have been doing this since the birth of compassion among humans.

A sad situation, but understandable when you factor in compassion.

The husband said he couldn't live a single day without his wife.

Having just lost my grandfather in hospice it's a really hard call to make. I actually had the conversation with my mother. He had emphysema and was relying on a respirator. I saw how he was suffering and suggested to my mother that maybe it would be better if we just let him go. He didn't have much time left we had all realized that. But we just couldn't bring ourselves to do so. It's hard seeing a loved one suffer like that with no bright side.
