New $50 Enfield

I picked this up about a week ago for $50, she was horribly sporterized but fortunately the metal wasn't touched. Bubba just decided to modify the wood quite a bit. So I headed down to Sarco and picked up all that I needed but the forend to bring her back to her former glory. The bore is 100% MINT which is a plus, it actually reads a 2 on my CMP .30 cal Muzzle gauge. I still need to track down the screws for the nose cap and a proper sling for it and do a little more staining to get all the wood to match better. Sometimes it pays being a gun nut so you can recognize a diamond in the rough. So here she is....

 

The sights are still adjustable.....

A nice "smelly" for $50, go ahead, rub it in..... I just picked up a Fazakerly No4 Mk1 for $200 and wa proud of myself.....how the hell do you do it????? ;-)
