Target Shooting in Ocean County?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. My family owns over 100 acres of undeveloped land in southern Ocean County. My son just turned 10 years old, and I want to take him target shooting with my hand guns and a couple rifles. Is this legal or am I heading for trouble? Thanks for any responses or advice.

Check with the township to see if they have any discharge laws.

You can give a call to the township PD and ask if they have any "discharge" laws.

What everyone else said, check with local PD.. and then invite us over so we can shoot there too!
