brocglock23 4 Posted June 2, 2013 Is anyone reading this? The only place that I've seen it is at Walmart. I think the articles are pretty honest and they cover a vast spectrum of gun related stuff. Ie: this months issue covered ar bolt check out and rebuild and 22 Glock conversions. It's only it's 7th issue but seems promising. brocglock23 4 Posted June 2, 2013 i am always buying the Recoil mag. I love the articles in there. I think I've only read about 4 of the issues but I like the honesty. Like this month with the Glock 22 conversion kits they stated that the one pretty much sucks unless you shoot x,y and z as the manufacture states. The didn't ignore it or beat around the bush like some other mags. And considering I'm relatively new to the AR world the article on the Bolt assembly proved useful. Just haven't seen this at the usual places where I get my mags from (CVS or RiteAid) so I figured I'd see who came across this

notmetoo 41 Posted June 2, 2013 I get it through iTunes and really enjoy it, despite their "2A politically incorrect" statement in their MP7 article a couple of issues ago. I know it's available at the Barnes & Noble in Oxford Valley.
Cowboy6373 0 Posted June 2, 2013 Great Mag, I read it cover to cover. Thought about the itunes version, but there is something about flipping a page!!
Maksim 1,504 Posted June 2, 2013 Great looking magazine, even though they pissed off ALOT of gun owners with the tone of their beliefs. I have only seen one issue, would not buy it myself.

I've only read a few issues and really only the things I was interested in but it seems like a good read. If you don't mind me asking was there a particular article or something I missed? Maksim 1,504 Posted June 2, 2013 It was a review of an HK machine gun or machine pistol. They made comment that it is good that civilians can't buy it because they are too irresponsible to own one.... to that extent.
Tack Tickle 0 Posted June 2, 2013 They ARE too irresponsible. They would end up maxing out their credit cards to fuel the damn thing...
DargZ 5 Posted June 2, 2013 It was a review of an HK machine gun or machine pistol. They made comment that it is good that civilians can't buy it because they are too irresponsible to own one.... to that extent. The editor who made that comment apologized for the comment but was subsequently fired anyway due to the outrage. They have since hired Ian Harrison as the editor of the magazine. I've read this since issue 2.

I could see why that would piss people off. The editor who made that comment apologized for the comment but was subsequently fired anyway due to the outrage. They have since hired Ian Harrison as the editor of the magazine. I've read this since issue 2. That's good that they handled the issue. I can say I didn't see the article but I'll continue to give the magazine the benefit of the doubt for now.
mipafox 438 Posted June 2, 2013 Max is right, they are complete douchebags. Political elitists (no disrespect intended here). Don't give them a dime.
