O-gre 7 Posted June 8, 2013 Anyone know where I could find a few?
Duppie 73 Posted June 8, 2013 Just about non existent right now except some overpriced Promags at Greg Cote LLC and Gunclip Depot. CZ customs,Natchez and CDNN used to carry the Mech-Gars but I haven't seen any since November. I ran maybe 30 rounds of dirty lead nosed reloads through 4 of the Promags I bought last year without an issues except they rattle with 15 rounds loaded but not 14. Good luck. DSD1026 48 Posted June 8, 2013 15 round cz mags are discontinued for factory or mec gar (who makes factory cz mags anyway) for 2013.. Can only get 16 or 10 round now unless some place has old stock of them..
JustJoe 0 Posted June 8, 2013 ProMag makes replacements. You can find them cheaper than on Promag's website. http://www.promagindustries.com/product-p/cz-a1.htm I've never used promag mags on a CZ but run them on a P99 without any issues.
DSD1026 48 Posted June 8, 2013 ive heard very little good about pro mags.. never used one, but everyone i know that has said they are not even close to as good as factory or mec gar.. that said, they are available and cheaper than factory
Duppie 73 Posted June 8, 2013 ive heard very little good about pro mags.. never used one, but everyone i know that has said they are not even close to as good as factory or mec gar I agree....I bought 4, 15 round Promags for $14.99 each so the investment was minimal and they cycle alright but you can discern the difference in quality and build, plus I only load 14 round to prevent the annoying rattle. There is a certain irony that Promag is an American company and has such a spotty reputation.
