Little history from grandpa

Recommended Posts

My grandfather who passed on march 16 was a Korean War veteran, army drill instructor in Arkansas. We recently cleaned out the house and found some old military items. His full dress uniform which will be mounted in a nice case for future generations of my family to see and appreciate, His ruck sack, and an old dummy Grenade. Wish he had more. He probably did but over the years I am sure he just threw stuff out. Only got picks of the grenade, makes a great paperweight. Anyone have experience with uniform display cases?

It's hollowed out in the bottom.

Grenades are that heavy cause you need to be able to throw it a decent distance.

Grenades are designed to create shrapnel as an anti-personnel device.  The shrapnel comes from the weight of the metal.
