This could be just the excuse I need to get my commercial pilot certificate!

OK, it's not a cost-effective path to a gun discount, but still...

Thank you kindly for the heads up on this - I'm eligible for the program.  I tried several years ago to take advantage of it via Lawmen's Supply but could never get their full cooperation, I'm guessing because I wasn't current/ex LEO.

I understand you don't have any 19's in stock under this program, but could they be ordered with the program pricing?

Just wondering how this works with NJ's ethics laws for public employees especially sworn NJ law enforcement , Can one use their official position to accept a "discount". Below is from  the NJ ethics law

Exploitation of Official Position. You may not use your position to secure a job, contract, governmental approval or special benefit for yourself, a friend or family member.

Just wondering as I don't want to become what I hate.   And yes, I don't take the free coffee from the DD when they hand it to me.       OK, I'm ready..........open fire!

Dirtydigz,

We are not allowed to get the guns directly from Glock, so we have to use an authorized Sub-D (that is the inside name of the blue label program) distributor. That said, we asked for everything they had in the Glock world and that list above is what we got. I am not saying we won't get more, but it may take time.

Ok Comsec, I will give in. As I understand it, if you pressured RTSP to give you a discount because of your status and we did not give that same discount to other LEO'S than yes you would be overstepping your authority and getting a unfair benefit because of your position. If a company (Glock, Honda, Geico) gives a blanket discount to LEO'S etc, UNSOLICITED by the buyer!, then that does not violate the ethics rule.

Having been in law enforcement for more than a few years, I understand your hesitation, I think. This program is very wide ranging and does not single out LEO'S. Hell, they include regular civilians who are GSSF! I think the world will round out real nice if anyone takes advantage of the program.
