If one were to gauge the significance of this press conference and it's subsequent speeches by the empty chairs and 3'rd string reporters,I venture that it going any further than c-span afternoon filler is unlikely.

Of course it isn't going anywhere.  It goes against type.  All black leaders are supposed to support Obama and anti-gun thoughts.

I actually felt for those folks as the camera panned the empty seats. They obviously are resolute in their convictions and as you're said, going against type....no charismatic reverend surrounded by clapping hangers on,no loud and pandering sermons, only common sense and patriotism. Refreshing but apparently lost on so much of us Americans.
