SgtToadette 59 Posted October 17, 2013 Everyone will recommend reccomend Aimpoint and rightly so. Grab an Aimpoint PRO and call it a day.

SgtToadette 59 Posted October 25, 2013 Anybody have a decent amount in a store tho? I know I want an aimpoint but I cant pick between the PRO and the T1 T1 is better, but more expensive. I say better because it's lighter and less obtrusive, but the PRO is no slouch and carries all of Aimpoint's quality without the hefty price tag associated with their other products. T1 also uses a more common battery. Get the T1 if you like the cool factor or have the extra cash to blow, but get the PRO if you're more budget conscious. Or if you dont plan on swimming with it get the H1 which is the same optic without the underwater capability. You can find them used for around $450 in a qd mount, not much more than a PRO. I have a couple PRO's btw and think they are the best bang for the buck out there.
Jon 264 Posted October 25, 2013 Or if you dont plan on swimming with it get the H1 which is the same optic without the underwater capability. The T1 is also compatible with NV. If you won't be using NV or swimming with the rifle, H1 is where it's at!
Blake 50 Posted October 25, 2013 Also forgot to add the t1 is NVG compatable h1 is not. Last comment - if you go with a t1 or h1 make sure you get the 2 moa version. I had a 4 moa t1 I took in on with a trade and the dot was way too big past 100yds.

Alex V 99 Posted October 30, 2013 The H1 is waterproof down to 15' so you can go swimming with it... maybe even snorkling... but don't go SCUBA diving with it... Personally I find the T/H1 a bit too small. I love my AImpoint M3's but I just didn't jive with the smaller T/H1's. To each his own I suppose.
shooter28 153 Posted November 14, 2013 ^ thats why im wondering if anyone has them in stock at a store. i know both are quality. i would like to see both and see which one i like better in terms of size. i have zero experience with either.
pbkid6974 1 Posted November 16, 2013 go to your local gun store and check. the h-1 is a 20mm tube about 2 1/2 inches long. i like it because it is small light and has very fast target acquisition. it is not a precision sight although i do shoot a hell of a lit better with it.
