gleninjersey 2,141 Posted January 6, 2014 Just finished 2nd in the WSOP $250 Sunday Free Roll! Lost to a pair of deuces! Was holding jack/queen off suit pre-flop. Oh well, was a good game. Now to roll that $36 windfall into some real cash!

gleninjersey 2,141 Posted January 7, 2014 Guess that depends on you doesn't it lol. Once I got to heads up it only took 2 or 3 hands and I was done. Beating out the other 273 players took some time. Doesn't really depend on how fast or slow you play. With larger online tournaments I'm guessing you can probably expect to be playing from 3-6 hours or more..... I don't play that often because I generally don't have hours and hours to myself but every now and then it is nice to sit down and play and see how "deep" you can go. TheLugNutZ 21 Posted February 12, 2014 Bumping this back up. I really want to get a game going... Changed over to Borgata/Party from WSOP. Up about 70bb/100 hands on $.10/$.25 and took down a few SnGs and a MTTs over the last week. Borgata>WSOP for amount of players and games going on at once. WSOP may be a little softer tho. Also, no HUD on WSOP....
dwamp2006 1 Posted February 12, 2014 So I haven't been playing much on the poker side. But they sent me a free $5 to use on the casino section. I had some time to kill so I played for a few hours on some penny slots. Going up and down between $10-20 until I hit for a cool $115. Needless to say I filled out the form and the checks on the way. Not to bad for free and a couple hours time!

gleninjersey 2,141 Posted April 19, 2014 Won $1500 in a $11 tournament. Makes up some of the money we owed in taxes and some going to the AR build. Purchased an upper from Palmetto State Armory. Going to check out 888 Poker to see how their tournaments are. WSOP are okay but they start (and go) late. Looking for some tournies that start a little earlier (6pmish). TheLugNutZ 21 Posted April 21, 2014 Started the year off crushing $25NL, then moved to $50NL and got sacked. Had to start at $10NL again and have been crushing it for the last 2 months. Every time I get +10 buyins I try $25NL again, but cant seem to get over the hump. I am running so bad at those stakes Its crazy. But $10NL is just so soft I cant even lose if I wanted to. Was up 7 buyins in like 2 hrs last night. (on Party/Borgata)

(on Party/Borgata) Just me but I wouldn't move up til I was like 20 25 buy ins also move up slow play mostly 10 and venture in to the 25 game when you start to get a good win percentage then play 25 most of the time. Repeat for higher levels
TheLugNutZ 21 Posted April 23, 2014 Yeah I agree, Im moving up too quickly. Poor BR management. Just so tempting when I jumped right into 25NL and did good. I wish I never went to 50NL or I would still be at 25 most likely... I know I was on a little heater at the start, but now its the complete opposite. Thanks for the advice. Im sticking to 10NL until I get up the 20 buyins at 25NL.

gleninjersey 2,141 Posted May 7, 2014 I play on 888 and been doing REAL well, I love the hourly freerolls, Grindin away! I cant win crap on the other sites, Have their freerolls changed? I signed up and only see one freeroll for today? It's a "$50 Daily Freeroll R&A" at 21:30. Don't see any others listed. I have "All Games", "Tournaments" and then "Freerolls" selected. 888's interface looks exactly like WSOP's.

gleninjersey 2,141 Posted June 11, 2014 Deposited $40 at 7-11 about 2 weeks ago into my WSOP account. Like being able to deposit cash instead us using a credit card. Wife informed me we were being charged an extra 10 or 20% when usinng a credit card for my poker deposits b/c they were being run through as cash advances. So if you want to avoid cash advance charges from your credit card company see if you can deposit cash. It was very easy. I did it online or on my phone. Received a barcode via email that went to my phone. Drove to 7-11 & they scan the barode on your phone as a gift card & you hand them cash. Drove home & money was in my account. So long using my credit card and paying cash advances. I had prob deposited less than $150 using my credit card and wasn't aware of the additional cash advance fee we were paying. Have run the $40 up to just over $300 so far. When I'm up about $500 I'll be pulling about $300 out to purchase a 22. Poker also paid for my upper on my AR.
