Online poker...

Recommended Posts

I am playing mostly on WSOP, since it has the most players and best interface. Borgata gave me a free $50 but I hate their interface along with partypoker.

888 has same interface as WSOP.

forget that betfair crap site it loaded to much crap on my pc

LOCK Poker is pretty nice. Basically a carbon copy of Poker Stars (which will someday hopefully start with a Resorts connection). Look for my same avitar. LOL.

One problem - not a ton of players right now.

The phone apps are pretty much non-existent. If you know of any please give the exact links, etc.

I am spending my time on 888poker.

I played in the $10,000GTD nightly welcome freeroll the other night and finished 14th out of 362 players for a $275 cash out. Top 75 got payed min of $75

They have some decent low stakes tourneys and nightly freerolls

WSOP is my next go too

PartyPoker next cause I play in World Tavern Poker for free and they just teamed up with PartyPoker to offer exclusive events for them.

OK borgata's interface is sucking since yesterday. I have tried to log on a few times since last night and it keeps telling em i am not in state even though i am sitting in my living room in Jackson. I have also had to kill the app the last few times I had it up because it froze. Anyone else having issues being told they are not in state

Boy I am pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I just got back online for being down from DNS issues for past 5 hrs. I was in the middle of two tourneys, One I paid $10 to enter and was playing for 2 hours and was about to make it into the money. The other was the 10,000gtd welcome tourney which I used my last ticket for and had a had just tripled up. And of course with the stupid location software I couldn't connect thru my phone without WIFI.

I can't get on ANY of the sites.  I've tried Borgota, it tells me I'm not in Jersey (despite being just about smack dab in the middle of the state).

WSOP rejects my password attempts (yes I am entering one per their specs).  Customer service advice:  "Keep trying."

Ultimate Poker keeps shutting down on me.

I've tried via laptop, iPad (on WSOP only) and desktop (w. wireless connection) to no avail.

Probably best as I have a LOT of paperwork to do this week.  :)

Was able to play for about an hour last night on WSOP.  Just played a little .05/.10 to screw around, was up about $10...

You can play for nickles and dimes? That actually sounds cool. My buddy says he can pull up the sites from his place on the river (PA side). Can somebody lend me a NJ SS# to play with? ;)

I dont think you have to have residence in NJ, you just have to BE IN NJ. so if you can pull up on the border, you should still be able to use your SS #

    • We never let then inside.  Last re-evaluation was 6-7 years ago, wife politely told him that he was welcome to look around the property and he could look in the windows. He saw two white resin chairs in the basement and told her that this constituted a finished basement. And everything in the basement is bare concrete/ cinder block, and mechanical systems. Nothing finished about it. Ultimately he relented and I'm sure that was a ploy to coerce us to allow him in
    • I use an Alien Gear cloak tuck (IWB) with my Shield.  Neoprene back - in the summer it does feel warm but doesn't rub or chafe.   https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-iwb-holster.html Could also go with the shapeshift as it has multiple options - OWB/IWB, Appendix... https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-shapeshift-modular-holster-system.html
    • The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam
    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
    • Check the primers on the ammo you didn't shoot yet. Are they fully seated? If the primer is not just below flush with the back of the case, the first hit can seat it better then the second hit ignites it.
