Anybody have the black leather? I'm curious if it stains your skin if you sweat a lot.

I did receive a call back. (Voicemail) he said they don't offer discounts or wholesale pricing but they would be more then happy to answer questions and deal with njgunforums.com . Maybe it would be better if a moderator / admin called them back about sponsoring. I would love to help with it but besides making a phone call I am obviously not the person to talk to.

Ordered mine the other day. PM'd them from another forum they sponsor. Quick replies back. I ordered A complete holster for my P226 and A shell for my Sp2022. Just A heads up, The lead time for delivery is out to 4 weeks. Seems like they have really gained sales from the forums they sponsor.  They are on just about all national forums. Like said above I have seen no discounts offered. But I must say that of the 3 IWB holsters I have, They are the most reasonably priced.

I received my Alien Gear holster with an extra shell recently, although I haven't had the opportunity to break it in properly. The workmanship seems fine, and the fit is very good. So initially I would say they are worth the price, and perhaps a better value.

Just be prepared to have your CC charged when the order is placed. My delivery time was close to five weeks. (But they did say that up front.)

I've had mine for two weeks now. Very comfortable, Shell change takes A couple minutes. I like the Idea of using the same leather for 2 different guns.  I did some cutting to the leather. Which I have done to all my IWB holsters just due to how I wear them and the feel that I am accustom to.   I now have IWB ho;sters from 3 makers and this is my go to holster.

I placed the order on Tuesday. I'm calling if I don't hear from them soon and I'll post what their response is. I mean it's already a 4-5 backlog ...I don't want to wait even longer because some silly clerical error or something.

Got a chance to wear it some at home. After I tightened the screws just about flush to the back of the leather it gave pretty good retention. I may put shorter screws in to make it a little tighter. The holster comes with a bag of extra screws and spacers to customize the fit and cant. Holster seems sturdy and comfortable. The draw is very fast, compared to my Safariland and leather milt sparks. So far so good.

    • We never let then inside.  Last re-evaluation was 6-7 years ago, wife politely told him that he was welcome to look around the property and he could look in the windows. He saw two white resin chairs in the basement and told her that this constituted a finished basement. And everything in the basement is bare concrete/ cinder block, and mechanical systems. Nothing finished about it. Ultimately he relented and I'm sure that was a ploy to coerce us to allow him in
    • I use an Alien Gear cloak tuck (IWB) with my Shield.  Neoprene back - in the summer it does feel warm but doesn't rub or chafe.   https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-iwb-holster.html Could also go with the shapeshift as it has multiple options - OWB/IWB, Appendix... https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-shapeshift-modular-holster-system.html
    • The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam
    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
    • Check the primers on the ammo you didn't shoot yet. Are they fully seated? If the primer is not just below flush with the back of the case, the first hit can seat it better then the second hit ignites it.
