Strange how our perceptions change.  A year ago I would not have spent $25 on 500 rounds of .22.  Now I was glad to find it for twice that price.  I do hope ammo someday comes back to normal but I used to hope the same thing about gas prices - back when I sold my F250 because gas hit the ridiculous price of $2 per gallon.

It might not recover unless there is a production increase. .22 ammo is easy to hoard, and it's a consumable product.

someone correct me if im wrong, but i dont remember getting 500 mini mags for $25. Mini mags at the cheapest in recent years was what maybe $7 per hundred. Im sure some remember a year and a half ago with i think it was $170 shipped from dunns for 5250 rounds in an ammo box.
