Blake 50 Posted April 10, 2014 As someone who was hesitant to go bc I had only shot 1 other type of match before I can say that this is a very good match to start with. Everyone is very laid back and helpful. The stages are also less stressful to shoot bc you are not moving and shooting, it is from a static position. As long as I can get off of work I am going to be there. This will be the last match score I need to get my special purpose badge so that I can really start practicing with a holster in the pits. The members steel match is perfect for you, but be wary of when George says "Royal Treatment." Sophomoric hazing at its finest.
Mikeythumbs 1 Posted April 10, 2014 Come out you need a holster for the gun you are going to shoot. and at least 3 mags (5 is better as you wont have the issue of ohters heling you rteload mags while your shooting). The holster is only for centerfire(and not a dealbreaker if you dont have one). If you would like to shoot rimfire no holster. Any other questions feel free someone will answer them. This is probably the best match to start on it is a shorter day then the full steel or USPSA and it is for sure a no pressure match.
