What club should I join for the CMP?

Want to buy a Garand. I see you need to be part of one of their affiliated clubs. Being that the wording is kinda strange, is being active duty LEO/member of the PBA good enough to buy a rifle? If not, what club should I join?

Depends on what you're after with the CMP

For Rifle, get on the list for Cumberland Riflemen

If not them ,then SJSC for sure

For CMP Pistol, Cumberland is the better choice, otherwise SJSC wins for 'all-handgun'

Cumberland's 600 and it's turning targets on Pistol range are their big differences

PBA is a qualifying law enforcement organization as far as CMP is concerned. If you're a member you don't have to join anything else
