Stippled them myself

Recommended Posts

So i always wanted to get a couple of my Glocks stippled but didn't want to pony up $180 each to have it done. I watched some youtube videos and decided to give it a shot.

Total investment was $30 and about 90min of my time. They look pretty good to me and grip is so much better. I tried the talons for a while but this just feels better. I know a lot of you will think its a waste and i ruined a perfectly good gun but i like it.

I'm too anal. I would want it to be perfect if I did it myself - but, if I did it, then I would know of every little mistake or imperfection. It would drive me bananas.

If someone else does it, I'm not as anal because I assume they did it perfectly....

One of my little peccadillos...

I was in a similar situation. I stipple the textured part of my Shield frame very lightly. Feels like sandpaper. It is strange because I did the right side only so the frame doesn't irritate me while carrying. You can't easily see the difference. I merely took an old wood burning pen and kept poking.

Try a Pmag. Break one at work to use as a sample LOL
