Nucrunner 75 Posted August 3, 2018 Thinking of giving some Cowboy Action a try. The only venue I know of is Delaware Blues in Quinton, NJ (I’m So Jersey). Two quick questions... Is a Henry Big Boy Steel (tube fed) .357 good to go for the rifle? With two holstered pistols, after shooting the 5 rounds from the first pistol, do you reholster the first pistol before pulling the second? Are there rules ensuring the safe status of that first pistol before pulling the second?
M1152 713 Posted August 4, 2018 Other than watching a few cowboy competition youtube videos in the past I don’t know about their rules & reg but I found this https://www.sassnet.com/Downloads/RO/SASSHandbook-16-2010.pdf but its still unclear (to me) if the Henry qualifies.… I’m just a plinker and only chiming in to say I own the Henry in 357Mag and love it. I would have liked to have seen Henry do a model or two with the traditional load gate. I've add my two favorite cowboy action youtube vids, hope they display correctly. if they do display correctly the first one is a CA overview and a little long, the second is short promo. one thing is for sure, these guys & gals could shoot
