I honestly did not know. I knew that Oleg started it or whatnot, but assumed he left. Just shows you.... need to own the main domain.

It was getting annoying. You would find the same posts on both sites. One is very active. The other one no so much. I tried reading the comments concerning the falling out between the two principals of the original site but lost interest.

In short, Oleg was the guy running it, and the other guy was the tech guy. Tech guy reregistered the domain, thehighroad.org in his own name, and was running it on his own servers (he owned a web hosting company?)

 

Thats the issue.

the .us site is still up but nowhere near the traffic of .org. I dont think most people cared enough.

 

I do not know how the lawsuit went.

I read about this a while ago, It was strange to see, I tried going to both websites for a little bit but it got old fast. Not a fan of either, Why go to THR when you have NJGF. The thing about it is there are so many members on THR, it gets kind of hard to get into it. They do have a ton of great info there though.
