6 pointsYikes! This recent John Stossel report is about just how frequently well-intentioned gun owners are getting arrested at NYC airports for running afoul of their nutty, nutty laws. Pretty sobering... goodness, they're every bit as bad as Joisey! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyHzVsdWBfM FYI, instead of embedding the video, I left it as a link to drive you to Stossel's YouTube channel... because he actually has several other videos on gun issues you might find interesting. (I didn't realized he covered gun issues so much, though I was aware of his libertarian leanings, so I guess I'm not particularly surprised either). Anyway, good for browsing.

6 pointsIf the city will arrest construction workers for carrying a box cutter, they will arrest ANYONE. Except the people that really need to get arrested, they are oppressed.

3 pointsTheir next step is to start checking our search history on our devices and arrest us for searching for guns which might be illegal in a location. 1984 is slowly coming. We need more federal judges appointed by Trump and ultimately by Pence over the next 16 years to reverse this stuff.

3 pointsToday, the lady cyclist would be arrested, charged on multiple counts and would then spend at least 100K defending herself in court, quite probably leading to her financial ruination. The "tramp" meanwhile would be raised to hero status in the press, with endless interviews of his grieving momma, etc. Yeah, times have changed!

2 pointsIt comes down to discretion. You think they're gonna come chase after a Husky on a winter day? Or the guy who leaves a Yorkie in a hot car for it to die? A lot of people own pets, but have no love for animals, and that ain't right.

2 pointsCame across this blurb in the Leader Herald from Fulton County NY. They have a feature occasionally where they pull stories from old newspapers and reprint them or pieces of them. I found this one of particular interest to firearms owners. The Oct. 27, 1895, Utica Tribune’s “Women of Today” column encouraged female cyclists never to ride alone, but if they must, to arm themselves with one of the popular, small “velo-dog” or ‘velocipede anti-dog’ revolvers for protection against both dogs and tramps. Should a lone female cyclist be menaced by a tramp and have to shoot him, the Utica Chief of Police stated, “she was encouraged to notify authorities at the conclusion of her ride.”

2 pointsI find it interesting there are so many people who believe Sig couldn't screw something up. Anyone can screw something up.

1 pointWOW! If you need a dose of inspiration, seriously... look no further than THIS GUY!! Born with no arms, he just picked up a gold and a silver medal at the USA Archery Outdoor National Championships - shooting with his feet. His tagline is: "what's your excuse?" Love it! http://fox59.com/2017/08/07/the-armless-archer-takes-home-first-place-at-archery-championship-in-westfield/

1 pointLmao wrong again! I work for a school system now. I do it all for free now just to help out my former boss when needed. There is no animal cruelty in either one of the situations you described although they were very vague. Here's one for ya even before this new law all it took is one phone call and any animal control officer or cruelty investigator employed by your town can come and ask questions or spca officer employed by the state. About the whole " holier than thou" comment pot calling the kettel black No? Your the one who started with the whole "I'm guessing your not a dog owner or know how dogs behave" Since you could not answer my first question how about this, why do you think it's a good idea to allow people to chain up short hair dogs outside with heavy chain in tempatures under 32 degrees for 12 hours a day? This law was written to help close the "loopholes" that people who abuse and mistreat animals get off Scot free. How is that a bad thing? Like I said before just because you treat your animals good dose not mean everyone treats their animals good.

1 pointFor shooting 100 yards with your 22lr I would suggest Nikon's PROSTAFF 3-9x40 Rimfire BDC 150. It lets you dial in your rifle scope and ammo using Nikon's Spot On Program to get excellent downrange accuracy. This scope is very similar to your P-223 scope except the rimfire is set for 1/4 inch adjustments at 50 yards and not 100 like your P-223. One of my favorite features of the PROSTAFF scopes besides outstanding light gathering is the fast focus eyepiece for an extra clear picture. Here's a pic of Spot On number's I ran for a guy looking for a scope for 22lr to shoot subsonic ammo. Drop me a note with any questions. hope it expands enough to see all the data you can get from this program. YOu can even change the power setting which in turn changes the BDC yardages. I

1 pointno fiting of any kind was needed on my saiga, direct bolt in. i did the gas block myself on my build, its really not that big of a deal. if it wont tap off and you dont want to save the part you can split it with a dremel, i had to do that on my front sight. the one from venom tactical is a bolt on replacement, so no press needed. alignment can be done on the kitchen counter, or similar flat surface, with 2 squares
