Oh boy. Amando, you need to talk to someone in the know in your chain of command and possibly an attorney your agency uses. Don't make decisions that can affect your career and freedom based on info you receive online or from agencies outside your state that don't know you or your job.

If I send it in for the recall I am going to put in a note about the issue and have them take a look at it.

Interesting... and I didn't see it posted anywhere else on here. This is good news for some FFL's, I presume?... "Operation Choke Point" - started during Obama administration - is now being rolled back. Sounds like perhaps the program didn't really stop fraud as (supposedly) initially intended, but it did make it difficult for gun shop owners to expand their businesses, etc. Read more here: http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/08/foghorn/breaking-trump-ends-obama-era-crackdown-gun-stores/

Honestly, i've dealt with leaking block foundations and once whatever material they used back when the house was built is shot, its insanely hard to really waterproof the block from the inside. The sealants and such they make to use on the inside of the block is for moisture, not literal leaks. Try starting by pitching away from the bilco doors, and go from there. A cheap, easy thing you could try to seal around the door is a tube of roofing tar. If its a big gap/crack, perhaps try filling it with self-leveling cement prior to putting any sort of sealant. The roofing tar is a PITA to work with but it comes in caulk gun type tubes and works well on most surfaces. Even standard Caulk might work.. really depends on the condition of the door/concrete.

Lol yea fixed gutter drains, forgot about posting that. Now that I think of it, I believe that thread referred to the leak, crap my memory lately.. The doors do have a slight leak around where it meets the concrete, I temporary have a tarp hanging over doors to prevent that. I will need to seal it though, any good sealant to use for that? I believe it's seeping through the cinder block wall under where doors are. Now exactly where I don't know, could be under dirt.

Not sure i understood where its leaking from, but certainly start by pitching the water away from the doors. If its seeping in from the actual door, look at getting some seals for it. If its coming in from the steps or something below the door, then a pad will only do so much; with bad rain all of the ground will get saturated so that would only help so much.

No, it is not. The forward set sear (FSS) kit and flat face trigger are non-adjustable. Personally, I'm pretty happy with 1/4" of pre-travel. The trigger is smooth enough that with a constant velocity trigger press, the minimal pre-travel is a non-issue (at least for me).

This is much more to this story than we are hearing from most media outlets. I might not like the views of many groups but every group has a right to peacefully march and protest. The left and the media no longer believe in these true American values. Unfortunately one crazy driver took this to a place he should not have gone and the entire group is being assumed guilty. The left has been using violence for a long time (think WTO, and during the election). The media and politicians feed the frenzy. I have no idea how far this is going to go but the good thing is that these are still relatively small groups on all sides. So let the Nazi's and BLM and antifa march (with more separation next time) and celebrate the rights that all citizens have in this country (not just the ones we agree with).

Lets not forget ONE important thing. MSM will NEVER report anything NRA says in the positive light. NEVER.

And NRA did the right thing by staying out of this. Unless they want their balls fried in sesame oil

I'll be there for the third year in a row. Virtually anyone that matters as far as 2A goes will be there. If I don't see ya before this event, stop at our booth to say hello! http://www.cnjfo.com

I signed up for this not long ago... umm... 20 bucks? Why not? I'll be interested to hear what the line-up of speakers have to say. Besides, it's healthy to get AWAY from the keyboard on occasion! (And honestly, I'm just posting this to give the thread a little "bump" - I'm sure the organizers/sponsors are working hard to pull this event together - but this thread is getting buried on here - it should be a little more visible, I think).

The PA corrections officer who got the charges dropped had nothing to do with LEOSA. The PA corrections officer was not qualified to carry under LEOSA. Your PA carry permit is worthless in NJ and has nothing to do with LEOSA. NJ corrections officers are covered under LEOSA. Where do you work and what do you do? Do you qualify under LEOSA? Do you carry at work? Do you have police powers Can you carry off duty by statute or do you need a carry permit? Can you make arrests? These are some of the qualifiers. NJ says if you're carrying under LEOSA you can't carry hollowpoints. Total contradiction of the federal law which says you can. Guess who wins? Answer my questions and I might be able to help you.

I know we've got many co-sponsors. And I try to avoid the negative comments But we finally have a chance to fix our broken firearm laws in the country and make them more uniform across the board and our leaders simply aren't doing it! I try to remain patient but I can understand the dismay. Those of us in the PRNJ have been looking forward to catching a break for so long now. That it finally being attainable; Us once more getting our rights back is just within reach, but with a total lack of motion after original introduction. These things have a time limit on them. 2018 is right around the corner and the concern now should be If this isn't enacted before then. Will we have the votes needed to pass it, or will the fascist left once again hold some kind of majority and hope is once again lost, where we're told to vote again in so-many years down the road for them to be put into office once again only to fall short on deadlines again. Peruta was another case that could of helped up, most of us in PRNJ got our hopes up that the SCOTUS would hear the case and with Gorsuch on bench we'd be able to pull the votes needed for a foundational shake-up of states laws in regards to the 2nd amendment. But once again we were let down. Point is these politicans need to get off their ass and fix this NOW if they are truly serious about it and secondly to remember that those of us who may laugh at others saying things are gonna change by (insert date here) have remembered the multiple times we've been let down in the past. I've honestly given up on the Peoples Republic of New Jersey. Even if tomorrow I could Carry in this state (be it open or concealed) I'm out of here as fast as I can manage.
