So, Lavrentiy Beria (merrick garland) want to fight voter ID law? https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2024/03/05/attorney-general-merrick-garland-vows-to-fight-voter-id-laws-disadvantage-minorities/ OK, so now red state governors need to follow suit and stop ID laws for firearm purchases. It is clearly established that the 2A IS a constitutional RIGHT that shall not be infringed.. If this is fought to the SCOTUS than SAF, FPC, GOA and the nra (if their still relevant ) need to make it clear that if there is no ID for voting than there is no ID for 2A in any shape or form. And leftist's, just so you know, More carnage can be dealt to the republic at a voting booth than at any "mass shooting" anywhere.

New Jersey Governor Seeks to Price Residents Out of Their 2A Rights By John Petrolino | 1:31 PM | March 06, 2024 AP Photo/Seth Wenig The Garden State is never void of things to report on. As a matter of fact, covering the 2A news there is like drinking from a firehose. When you have a freedom-hating governor like Phil Murphy as the chief executive, bigots like Assemblyman John McKeon in office, and incredibly obtuse lawmakers like Joe Danielsen allegedly writing laws, they make covering how awful they are all too easy. Recently Governor Phil Murphy, D-N.J., released his budget proposal for the state and he aims to make the Second Amendment inaccessible to all but the rich. The budget suggests a number of changes to the price tags associated with the firearm related paperwork that’s necessary to exercise a civil right. The governor's proposal did not breakdown the numbers, but rather stated in the “other revenues” section: Some colleagues over at NJ.com did some serious groundwork and repeatedly reached out to the governor's office asking them to elaborate on what “modest increases to [...] firearm permit and license fees” meant. I reached out to S.P. Sullivan, the senior reporter who broke the story, and he said that a spokesperson eventually sent him the following information about the proposed rate increase: Firearms Purchaser Identification Card Application - $100 (Current Fee - $50) Permit to Purchase Application - $50 (Current Fee - $25) Duplicate Firearms Purchaser ID Card - $50 (Current Fee - $0) Wholesale/Retail Dealer Employee License Application - $40 (Current Fee - $5) Retail Firearms Dealer Licenses Initial/Renewal Applications - $500 (Current Fee - $50) Retail Firearms Dealer License for Corporations for Partnerships Initial/Renewal Application - $500 (Current Fee - $50) Manufacturer/Wholesale Dealers of Firearms Initial/Renewal Application - $1,500 (Current Fee - $150) Manufacturers/Wholesalers for Corporation or Partnerships Initial/Renewal Application - $1,500 (Current Fee - $150) Permit to Carry Initial/Renewal Application - $400 (Current Fee - $200) NICS Check for Firearms Purchase - $45 (Current Fee - $15, $16 if it includes a handgun) More here: https://bearingarms.com/john-petrolino/2024/03/06/nj-governor-seeks-to-price-out-2a-n1224093?utm_source=badaily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl&bcid=00ea90fbf351bbfd29c96affd26f2dca49954a466ec9e3e8139f308bd8a1cb93

Is the sliding and folding stock ban being challenged in NJ? I realize things like magazine capacity are probably more important but I find the sliding stock ban to be one of the most idiotic laws ever. For arguments sake let's say a stock can slide into three different positions. In NJ I can't own such a sliding stock. BUT, i can own the same stock pinned and permanently welded in the three different lengths on three different rifles! It makes ZERO sense.

Sniper, that would be a good idea, but two is one and one is none. Those PDFs should be stored in multiple locations and shared amongst friends, but print copies should exist as well (and maybe a well-placed broken microwave. A library of knowledge on medicine, engineering, food, etc. would be invaluable to long term, but the OP is focusing on just (5) or so that you might actually be able to carry/transport with you and keep intact. Just off hand, here are a few of my contenders. Keep in mind that some of the books overlap and there are redundanies. It would also depend on your particular skill set. haven't really found any good books on surviving in an urban setting and a good book on engineering information might be a good choice as well. These books aren't in any particular order. The Survival Medicine Handbook by the Altons SAS Survival Handbook by Wiseman The Encyclopedia of Country Living by Emery Surviving Doomsday - Duarte The Backyard Homestead by Madigan Bushcraft Box Set by Dave Canterbury The Lost Art of Reading Nature's Signs by Gooley Survival Theory by Hollerman A Year without the Grocery Store by Morris Cookin with Home Storage by Layton The Good Living Guide to Country Skills by Gehring Prepper's Longterm Survival Guide by Cobb The Foxfire Book by Wigginton Surviving the Economic Collape by Aquirre How to Survive the End of the World as We Know It by Rawles Peterson's Guide to Edible Plants Facing Violence by Miller Defense Handgun II by James US Constitution Useful Knots by Fury When Violence is the Answer by Larkin The Bible An Assortment of Maps Please share your thougths an opinions.

This clip is from an old USAToday article, but I figure the numbers are probably bigger now... I remember hearing this while listening to Jim Gearhardt (Miss the guy). It's obscene. "The Reason Foundation says New Jersey spends just over $2 million per state-controlled mile on construction, maintenance and administration, triple the roughly $675,000 spent by the next-highest state, Massachusetts, and more than eight times the national average of $162,200."
