  1. Isn’t ANJRPC’s suit regarding magazine capacity to go back to fifteen rounds? I thought that’s what I heard Scott Bach say on GFH Radio.
  2. The NSSF is the only entity star-rating ranges. And the only two I know that are rated by them are RTSP & Reloaderz. Yelp & Google reviews don’t count in the shooting world.
  3. Maybe they’ll have their self-appointed 6 star kinks worked out in time for the official grand opening in October? Let’s wait and see.
  4. It goes into effect Sept 1st. Orange County has already stopped fingerprinting applicants. What training regimen and how to review social media accounts is to be determined still and is up in the air. The lawsuits can’t come fast enough https://www.orangecountygov.com/DocumentCenter/View/25629/220818-Revision-1-Announcement-Suspending-Fingerprinting
  5. A perfect storm awaits: https://newjerseymonitor.com/2022/08/17/judicial-vacancies-poised-to-edge-past-2020-high/
  6. They’re running a business. After dealing with three self-inflicted incidents, I think they’re correct in their decision.
  7. Think about that…….that’s 32 years ago. Some members on this forum weren’t born yet!
  8. I don’t doubt it. Bergen County isn’t even entertaining it. I reported to strikeforce@ ANJRPC and they said “they are aware and on it.”
  9. No, not at all. But is does seem suspicious as well. Reminds me of when Ramsey Outdoor Store in Paramus was robbed overnight back in the 90’s. Thieves cut a hole in the roof and stole a bunch of handguns. The townspeople were appalled when they find out that ROS sold guns!
  10. The answer is obvious. 9mm’s are the only rounds that will blow out lungs.
  11. Go to the top of this page look for email lists. Sign up for your poison https://www.nj.gov/dep/fgw/contact.htm
  12. Very few towns have even updated their websites for the PTC guidelines. Queries to their firearms departments produces blank stares or responses like “we’re waiting on the state for guidelines.”
  13. Leave it to Bergen County to be different.
  14. Don’t forget $50 to retake the quals if you fail Not everyone who thinks they can pass are passing
  15. The rifle was dropped at the scene and its S/N led them to the identity of the owner. PS- I doubt a KelTec can run through 83 rounds without a jam or two.
  16. Phil is at his villa in Italy right now. I’m sure his minions are fastidiously working on something new and sinister while he’s away.

  18. These are some profound words from Cryan; “It may be a right under the Second Amendment, but it should darn sure be a regulated right,” Cryan said. “It’s my opinion that it’s actually a privilege these days – that somewhere between AK and 47, it became a privilege.” He must have stayed up all night thinking that one up.
  19. Oh, that makes it okay then. I’d make sure he’s driving with you in the car when transporting through the state just so you can put him on the spot if you’re ever pulled over and he can do the explaining for you.
  20. Swimmingly not! In a state where it takes an individual 6 months to two years just to procure a handgun license to purchase a handgun, I don’t see authorities tripping over themselves to grant a concealed carry permit. I just see more lawsuits and more excuses to justify the delay. The first couple years are going to be tough.
  21. Carry allowed; to and from the range with reasonable deviation. Carry allowed; from the gunstore to your home, with reasonable deviation.
  22. Cherry Ridge if you like the outdoors. They have every base covered.
